The Yamaura factory is a flexible production plant that can handle multi-item and small-lot production. The Yamaura No. 4 factory was completed in July 2018 and started full-scale operations from December. The new factory is a state-of-the-art production plant with clean facilities and generous production space that are compliant with GMP (the international standard of manufacturing and quality control of pharmaceuticals), which correspond to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) requirements, and facilitate exports to Europe and Asia. There are 296 employees producing approximately 300 items.
